USHI PROGRAMS

We will be offering many more programs as the year progresses, but here are our initial offerings:

Imagine a place where the most challenging work is reserved for those who are the least seasoned and least prepared. Welcome to the typical hospitality enterprise!

A common problem for young or newly-promoted managers is making the transition from being "one of the guys" to supervising former peers. All too often, the change in position becomes so difficult that the new supervisor simply leaves the company.

Much as we might wish it, productively shifting a new manager's thinking won't happen in a one-day program. This year-long series builds on the Foundation Program with tailored monthly topics.

To help new managers evolve into more effective leaders, the Professional Development Series alternates specific monthly lessons with quarterly group sessions where attendees can re-connect with their peers and mentors.
